We utilize cookies and other tracking mechanisms (collectively called “Cookies”) on our platform to improve our services and to target advertising.
What are cookies and other tracking mechanisms?
Web: A cookie is a text file that is temporarily stored in your browser in order to remember your settings the next time you visit the site.
App: On the Tradono app, similar tracking mechanisms are utilized in order to improve your user experience.
A cookie/tracking mechanism cannot spread viruses and is not a program. Instead, a cookie/tracking mechanism helps analyze how websites and apps are used in order to improve the user experience.
Web: In your browser, you can disable Cookies and delete your Browser History. As cookies are stored in your browser, the only one who can see, edit or delete these cookies is you. However, we hope you will accept the cookies we use as they are helpful to our constant improvement of our content and services, in order to give you the best experience possible.
If you want to avoid cookies from Tradono, it is possible to block cookies in most types of browsers. To do so, go to your browser’s Settings > Privacy/Cookie Settings and add this domain to the list of websites you want to block cookies from. You can also delete individual cookies or all cookies stored in your browser under these settings.
If you do not want your visit to be registered by Google Analytics, you can use Google’s Opt-Out Browser Add-on. Be aware that your visits on other sites that use Google Analytics will also be prohibited from being registered if you install this browser plug-in.
App: You can disable the use of ad tracking on your phone. If you disable ad tracking, information about your device ID will not be shared with advertising partners. This will probably result in the ads displayed to you becoming less relevant. To disable ad tracking on Iphone/Ipad: Go to Settings > Privacy > Advertising. Here, enable “Limit Ad Tracking”. Ads based on location can also be disabled. To do so, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services. Here, enable “Location-Based Apple Ads”. To disable ad tracking on Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads. Here, enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization”. If the settings for ad tracking are not located as described above on your phone/tablet by the manufacturer, you can use the following online guide to locate the settings for ad tracking: https://www.pocketmeta.com/disable-ad-tracking-android-44876/
